Grading refers to the condition of the pins. Since they are handmade, there is no "perfect" pin. Price is dependant on grade (and of course cost for production).
A Grade: No noticeable flaws, best of the batch and almost perfect. These are the pins sold at a higher price and given to preorder orders at default.
B Grade: Small flaws that aren't very noticeable to the naked eye unless you squint. This can include small scratches, slight dips in the enamel, slightly off centred screen printing, odd looking plating, etc. These will vary among pins but I will point them out on the product description for your reference.
C Grade: Very noticeable flaws and will be sold at a more discounted price than B Grades. This can include large scratches, enamel overfill, missing enamel (in very small areas), enamel lifting, etc. These will vary among pins but I will point them out on the product description for your reference.
Seconds: They are below C Grade with even bigger or more noticeable flaws. This can include large areas of missing enamel or enamel colouring in the wrong place. These will vary among pins but I will point them out on the product description for your reference.
